Time to raise awareness

Well, not long now till September arrives! For most people, thats when the kids go back to school and the weather turns cooler.
For us at Womb Cancer Support UK, September means one thing - going Peach!!!
September is womb cancer awareness month and we intend do do as much as we can to raise people's awareness of womb cancer and highlight the facts and figures surrounding it.
Did you know that over 7,000 women are diagnosed with womb cancer every year? The ages that women are being diagnosed is falling aswell; it used to be a post menopausal cancer but more and more pre menopausal women are now being diagnosed.
During September, and beyond, we want to raise as much awareness about womb cancer as possible and we want you to help us.
If you read our blog; follow us on twitter or the Facebook page then please share the links. Talk about womb cancer with your female friends.
If you are a womb cancer survivor, then please consider sharing your story. You can do this by contacting your local paper or even one of the many womens magazines who are always looking for "real life" stories for their publications! Above all, we need to make women aware of the symptoms of womb cancer and make them realise that, if diagnosed and treated early then the outlook is very good!

Please join us on the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/pages/Womb-Cancer-Support-UK/122733007804817 and help spread some peachy awareness! xxx
